Regina & Davide in St. Louis, MO
Regina and Davide's wedding featured toasts and tunes under the clear night sky.

Location: The Whittemore House
Regina and Davide, who met while she worked as a marketing assistant at his microbrewery/restaurant in Union Station, exchanged vows in a traditional Catholic ceremony under the Arch downtown at the Old Cathedral Church of St. Louis.
Regina carried a beautiful bouquet of reddish-orange calla lilies and roses and tiny red berries, which she later presented to her grandparents, who have been married over 70 years, as a token of inspiration to the newlyweds as they embarked on a path of everlasting love. Bride‘s bouquet: terracotta-colored calla lilies, mini calla lilies, leonotis roses, red berries, hypericum berries, hand-tied with off-white streamers; bridesmaid bouquets: ivory calla lilies wrapped with a brass cord; boutonnieres: single ivory calla lilies.
The bride wore a Scott McClintock sleeveless off-white, A-line gown.
After the celebratory kiss, Regina and Davide were whisked away in a 1961 Chevy Bel Air, taking a detour through Forest Park right as the sun was setting so they could steal a few moments alone.
Meanwhile, guests enjoyed cocktails at the Washington University Faculty Club (an old English Tudor-style house, once the Whittemore Mansion). As the last guests said their goodbyes, Regina and Davide headed for his Jeep, which they found covered in streamers and soap, and rushed to their honeymoon suite where the infamous proposal banner, along with candles and rose petals, graced the bed.

The Bride Regina Kardos, 30
The Groom Davide Weaver, 29
The Date April 27

On her 30th birthday, Davide Weaver took Regina Kardos to the top of the St. Louis Arch. Back on the ground, Davide's friend sat underneath the massive structure holding a huge banner that read "Regina Dianne Kardos -- will you marry Davide Roberto Weaver?" "He took a pair of binoculars out of his pocket and said, 'look down to the ground,'" remembers Regina. "I saw the message and there were instant tears of joy." A carriage ride followed, where the newly engaged couple sipped chilled champagne on the way back to their apartment. Already blushing from the proposal, Regina was truly overwhelmed when she entered her apartment to find a spread of food and drinks, soothing sounds of a live jazz band, and over 30 friends shouting congratulations and birthday wishes.
